Curriculum and qualifications-related issues can create significant workload burdens for teachers and school leaders.

The NASUWT continues to engage with the Northern Ireland Executive, the Department of Education, the Council for the Curriculum, Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) and other system-wide bodies to ensure that the legitimate interests of the profession are reflected in policy development and implementation.

CCEA is taking forward the ReVision, a comprehensive programme of reform to GCSE and GCE qualifications.

The NASUWT will ensure that you are kept fully up to date with developments and will press for the needs of teachers and school leaders to be at the heart of the reform process.

To ensure that your rights and entitlements at work are protected, the NASUWT has issues action short of strike action instructions.

These instructions address many of the concerns that can arise around the curriculum and qualifications, particularly around excessive workload.
