    While comparisons with education systems overseas do serve a purpose, NASUWT believes that these must be not be used to make unreasonable assertions about the quality of the UK system.

    All teachers should have a guaranteed minimum of 10% timetabled planning, preparation and assessment (PPA) time marked on the timetable.

NASUWT members in England can get support, advice and information on employment-related issues by contacting the Member Support Advice Team. The team is available from 8am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday.

NASUWT Representatives with enquiries should contact their Regional Centre.
