The annual BME Teachers’ Consultation Conferences have proved to be highly successful. 

The most recent Conference took place on Saturday the 28th November 2015 at the Hilton Metropole Hotel, Birmingham.

The theme was 'Celebrating diversity, promoting equality and justice' and included workshop sessions on: applying for your first leadership post, assertiveness, flexible working and wellbeing'.

Approximately 400 members attended the conference making this the largest gathering of BME teachers in the UK, and our most successful BME conference to date.

Bonnie Greer, renowned playwright and social activist, addressed delegates on the Friday night and spoke of her inspirational teachers and her support of the profession.
