The NASUWT will seek to ensure that members in academy schools have at least the equivalent pay award to teachers in other maintained schools. Teachers working in a REAch2 academy should continue to receive the same pay increase and benefits as teachers in the maintained sector.

REAch2 has confirmed that all teachers' pay points and salaries in payment were increased by 1% in September 2015 and that 2% was added to the maximum point on the Main Pay Range for classroom teachers, in line with the expectations of the NASUWT.

The NASUWT has now agreed the new pay policy for 2015-16 with REAch2. The policy is compliant with the NASUWT Pay Policy Checklist.
